Your family home is the screen that answers "is there anything I need to do?" without you having to go looking. It loads in one go, which is why it is fast on a phone in a car park.
The colours mean exactly three things
- Green — nothing needed.
- Yellow — something needs doing, but nobody is stopped.
- Red — somebody will be blocked at the gate until this is fixed.
There is no fourth colour and there is no grey. A club cannot re-colour these, even by accident, even with its own brand colour applied everywhere else. "Do not let them in" must not be able to look reassuring.
The eight cards
| Card | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Today | Who from your family is in the water today, and when |
| Balance | What you owe, what is next to be charged, and whether the account is on hold |
| Waivers | Anything waiting for your signature |
| This week | The week ahead, plus a nudge if your membership is ending or registration is about to open |
| Family | Member number, guest passes left, and each person's gate status |
| Volunteer hours | Not built yet — the card stays quiet rather than showing you "0 of 0" |
| Cancellations | Not built yet |
| Messages | Not built yet |
The three unbuilt cards are deliberately blank rather than showing a zero. A card reading "0 of 0 hours" trains you to stop looking at it, and then the card is useless the day it matters.
The family card is the one to check before you drive
It carries each person's gate status. If somebody is yellow or red, the reason is written there in plain words along with what fixes it — and it is the same verdict the front desk will see when you arrive. There is no version of this where the portal says you are fine and the gate says otherwise.
See Getting into the pool and Every gate reason, explained.
More than one family
If you are attached to more than one household — a blended family, a household you were added to as a caregiver — you can switch between them at the top of the screen. You only ever see households you belong to.
If you land on a different screen
Coaches, registrars and anyone with a staff role land on the staff home instead, and reach the family screen from Family in the menu. Same cards, same data.
