The menu is built from your capabilities
Your sidebar is drawn from what you can actually do. If Dues is not there,
you do not hold manage_billing. If Desk is not there, you do not hold
run_gate.
This is not cosmetic. Guessing the web address will not help you — the server re-checks every request from scratch and does not care what your browser drew.
A menu with only "Home" on it
That is the recognisable one. It means your session is arriving with no capabilities at all, and there are two common causes:
- You hold no roles in this club. Somebody with
manage_roles— the owner or a club admin — needs to grant you one. - Your role grant has ended. Grants are dated. A grant that ended last season is still in the record and no longer opens anything.
Ask whoever runs the club to check your roles and their dates.
I had it last week and now I do not
Check the dates on your role grant before assuming anything was revoked. An
ends_on that has passed looks exactly like a revocation from where you are
standing.
The screen is there but it is empty
Different problem, and usually the season. Most staff screens are scoped to the current season. If nobody has made a season current, the roster, the registrations and the schedule will all be quiet. See Seasons.
The screen exists but the button does not
That is likely a feature that is not finished. Check What's available today — several screens are live readers with their write surfaces still landing, and each one says so.
