Joining a club

Available

The public join form: no account needed, one receipt, and what happens after you press send.

Written for Families

You do not need an account first

Go to your club's website and find Join. The form asks for the adults in the household, the swimmers, and how the club can reach you. Fill it in and send it. An account gets created later, once the club has said yes.

This is on purpose. Asking a family to create a password before they know whether the club has space is a good way to lose them at step one.

The receipt

When it goes through you get a confirmation on screen with a reference, and an email copy. Keep the reference — it is what to quote if you need to chase.

If you press send twice, or the page reloads and you try again, the club does not get two families. The second submission is recognised as the same one and answered with the same receipt.

What happens next

A person at the club reads it. There are three outcomes:

  • Approved — you are in. You get an invitation to set a password, and your family home appears. See Your family home.
  • Waitlisted — the season is full. You keep your place in line and the club makes you an offer when a spot opens. See The waitlist for how offers work.
  • More information needed — somebody will come back with a question. Usually a date of birth, a missing guardian, or which squad a swimmer belongs in.

How long this takes is up to your club, not to SwimWin.

If the form is not there

If your club's site has no Join link, registration is closed for the season or the club has not opened it yet. Contact the club directly — SwimWin cannot open registration on a club's behalf.

Bringing an existing family across

If your club is moving to SwimWin from something else, do not re-register — the club is bringing your details over. Ask them before you fill anything in.

Search every article, or ask your club — SwimWin support cannot see inside a club’s roster, and your club can.
