What you can do today
Guests (needs run_gate) holds the club's guest records: who visited, who
sponsored them, and how often.
Guest passes
A membership includes a seasonal guest allowance. Past that, the desk sells a pass. Clubs also cap guests per member per day, which is a separate limit.
Hitting the daily cap is overridable with a recorded reason — deliberately. The answer to a family arriving with six children on a birthday is a human decision with a note attached, never a bare refusal from a screen.
Two soft signals, and why they are soft
Frequent visitor. If the same guest has been in a lot this season, the desk is told. It is a fact handed to the desk, not a judgement. Whether nine visits is a problem is the membership chair's call; the desk's job is to know and mention it. Yellow, never red.
Name matches a banned guest record. Also yellow. It is a fuzzy name match, and auto-refusing the wrong Dave Miller at the gate on a Saturday is worse than asking a human to look at the record.
Banned records
A club can record a guest as not welcome, with the reason. The desk sees the match and reads the record.
What is not built yet
- Lost & found is coming soon. There is no place to record a left-behind pair of goggles yet. The guest book exists; lost & found does not.
- Live guest checking at the moment of entry — the allowance countdown, the daily cap and the guest waiver enforced as somebody walks up.
